GCF VOLUNTEER & FARM SERVICES
Thanks to our wonderful support of volunteers and the money earned from the sale of donated goods at GCF Donation Centers & Stores in 2018, the GCF Farm donated over than 120,000 pounds of fresh produce to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina and other non-profits.
Volunteers helped assemble 20,000 school kits distributed to Tier 1 schools in eastern North Carolina. Over 400 Snoodles and No Sew Blankets were distributed to parents of premature babies in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at eastern North Carolina hospitals by GCF Family Support Services

Available during the weekdays.
Snoodles: Volunteers 18 years and older proficient with a sewing machine will sew a 1/4” seam around a triangle leaving a gap to insert a pom pom, iron, resew seams and tie knots for the hands. Available during the weekdays.
30,000 School Kit Build: Volunteers 12 years and older will inventory, unpack supplies, break down boxes, and assemble school supplies. The kits will be donated to the Title 1 elementary and middle schools of Eastern N.C. in January and Spring.
